The Women in Energy Oil & Gas (WEOG) proudly declared September 3rd as World Decarbonization Day, a global initiative aimed at accelerating the transition to a low-carbon future.
This annual event served as a rallying point for governments, businesses, and individuals to unite in the fight against climate change by promoting sustainable practices, innovative solutions, and cross-sector collaboration.
World Decarbonization Day was more than just a symbolic gesture—it was a clarion call for immediate action.
WEOG envisioned this day as a catalyst for global movements that would drive carbon reduction, foster clean energy adoption, promote sustainable exploration, production, and usage of natural resources, and stimulate green investments.
As the climate crisis intensified, there was an urgent need for transformative partnerships between key stakeholders. WEOG invited corporations, policymakers, environmental organizations, citizens, and all stakeholders to join in this monumental effort.
