About Us
Women in Energy Oil and Gas (WEOG) is a forum created to promote gender diversity and inclusion in the male dominated energy, oil and gas industry thereby creating opportunities for women to step into leadership roles and pursue their career, business and personal goals in line with the Global goal 05.
Vision
To bring together women career and business professionals in the energy, oil and gas sector thereby enhancing industry synergy, growth and
development inline with the diversity and inclusion object of the Sustainable
Development goal 5
Mission
To promote gender diversity in the Nigerian and African energy, oil and gas industry thereby creating opportunities for women to step into leadership roles, pursuing their career and business goals.
To act as the official link between institutions in promoting industry diversity and inclusion , dissemination of vital information of mutual interests and benefits to WEOG members both from the public and private sectors.
Provide formal mentorship and role model structure for industry’s young women professionals and girls in STEM.
To foster women entrepreneurial participation in bids and tenders for public sector and private sector projects.
